Neonatal Intensive Unit
Donations to the Renée Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund enable us to provide the most compassionate, family-centered care for parents and their newborns. The multidisciplinary team at the Renée Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NICU, offers the most advanced treatments to infants, ranging from extremely preterm to those with complex surgical needs. Your gift ensures we continue to deliver the highest quality care for critically ill newborns, along with support for their families, to give them the best possible start to life.
Education
Donations to the Pediatric Educational Fund support the training of tomorrow’s leaders in pediatric care. Your gift ensures RUSH University is able to continue offering outstanding training in pediatrics to a diverse cohort of residents — ultimately preparing graduates to successfully practice in primary care, begin a hospitalist career or obtain a competitive fellowship.
Child Life
Donations to the Child Life Services Program Fund at RUSH help kids cope with the physical, social, emotional and educational challenges of hospitalization. RUSH’s Child Life Services specialists offer age-appropriate activities and education, such as relaxation techniques, animal-assisted therapy, special events and more. Your support not only helps raise children’s spirits while in the hospital but also prevents long-lasting development problems that can result from the disruption of hospitalization to a child’s life.
RUSH University Children’s Hospital
Donations to the RUSH Children's Hospital Fund help us provide expert care to kids and their families close to home — from primary pediatric care to more than 25 pediatric specialties. Gifts, large and small, allow our 100-plus pediatric physicians to work in concert with families to ensure each child receives access to advanced medical treatments, state-of-the-art technology and comfort and support when they need it most.
Rush University Children's Hospital Cuddler Program
Donations to the Cuddler program provides resources and extensive training for dedicated volunteers. These volunteers help support NICU staff and nurses by physically holding and comforting the premature infants.
